Chelsea Hattum, 48 of rural Harrold died on Monday, October 11th at her home near Westbend. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 18th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Isburg Funeral Chapel with a funeral service on Tuesday, October 19th at 10:00 am the First United Methodist Church in Pierre with burial to follow at the Scotty Philip in Ft. Pierre.
Chelsea was born on January 17th 1973 in Pierre to Billy and Leonda (McMullen) Wright. She grew up in Blunt and attended elementary school there and graduated from Sully Buttes High School. She married Todd Hattum in Pierre on April 13th, 1993 they farmed, ranched and raised their family together at the Hattum Farm at Westbend. She enjoyed hunting fishing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Todd; children: Mariah Hattum, Taylor Hattum (Wyatt Green), Casey Hattum, Shelby Hattum, Amy Hattum (Austin Friese) and Chad Hattum; two grandchildren; and brother Derik Wright.
She was preceded in death by her son Troy Hattum, parents and in-laws.
