Denise Ann (Hart) Telkamp, age 64, passed away peacefully at home, in Pierre SD, after losing her battle to Breast Cancer, on December 8th, 2022. A visitation will be held from 5:30-7:00pm Thursday May 4, 2023 at Feigum Funeral Home. Celebration of life will be 10:00am Friday May 5, 2023 at Lutheran Memorial Church with inurnment at Riverside Cemetery.

Denise Ann (Hart) Telkamp, age 64, passed away peacefully at home, in Pierre SD, after losing her battle to Breast Cancer, on December 8th, 2022.

She was born November 23rd, 1958, in Bismarck ND, to Neal and Ethel (McMahen) Hart. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1977. She went on to obtain a nursing degree from SDSU, graduating in 2000. She then worked in the SD State Health Department, SD State Department of Human Services, and Golden Living Center and Avera hospital/clinic.

Denise was a vibrant person who loved spreading joy and happiness to all she met. Denise married Warren White and had two sons: Mason White and Dylan White. Denise later happily remarried Bruce Telkamp on April 26, 2019.

Denise lived for her family and would do anything for her loved ones. She was stubborn yet strong; firm yet sweet. She enjoyed gardening, creating and fixing with crochet/stitchwork, playing and lounging with her adorable puppies Gunner and Bailey, watching old TV shows, and spending time with her granddaughter, Willow White.

Survived by her husband Bruce; Step-Children Tyrel (Candy) Telkamp, Trista (Dan) Thennis, Tara (Jacob) Kupcho; Step-grandchildren Austyn Burton, Charlie Telkamp, Baylee Kupcho, Ivar Telkamp, Rorrik Telkamp;

Son: Mason White (Lydia) and granddaughter Willow White;

Son: Dylan White (Julia);

Siblings: Randi Hart, David (Kristi) Steichen; Aunts Carol (Norman) Mohl, Jane Kieson; Cousins Darlene Pelton, Earl McMahen.
