Funeral services for Dominique Raba, 38, of Mobridge will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. A time of visitation will begin at 11:00 am and go until the funeral service begins. Burial will follow the service at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Bullhead. Dominique passed away Monday October 20, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge.

Dominique entered the spirit world on October 20, 2025, at Sanford hospital in Bismarck, ND, due to natural causes.

Dominique Lee Raba “Nikki” was born on January 16, 1987, in Mobridge, SD to DeShannon Raba and late Dino Montreal Sr. She was the 3rd of 10 children. She spent her childhood years growing up with her great grandma Mary Helan in Lemmon, SD. In 2003, she moved to Mobridge with her mother and attended Wakpala High School and spent time with her family until she moved to Aitkin, MN where she found a profession working with fiber optics and traveled the U.S. working. She moved home where she spent her remaining years managing Pauly’s Pub & Casino and carried many jobs. In 2018, she welcomed her only daughter Charlotte Raba and enjoyed raising her. Dominique loved to cook, color, garden, making jewelry, go to the river with her dog “Babe”. She mostly loved hanging out with her many friends & family. She was an amazing artist. She had a gift to always help others with her wise words and gentle spirit. She loved and cared very much for her daughter & special friend Bryan Hamre. She will be loved and missed by many.

Dominique is survived by her mother DeShannon Raba (Jeff MH), daughter Charlotte Raba, brothers: Scott Raba, Dino Montreal Jr., Diablito Raba, Dustin (Trish) Montreal, Sonny Raba (Cy Blu Johnson), Harley (Mya) Raba-Medicine Horse, sisters: Dominica Medicine Horse, Shandi Medicine Horse, Myrna Medicine Horse, aunt Yvette Montreal, uncles: Paul Lemler, Cody Hill, Marlen Montreal, Darris Montreal, and many nieces & nephews. We apologize if we left any one off, it wasn’t intentional.

She was proceeded in Death by her father Dino Montreal Sr., grandma Charlotte Antelope Sebert, grandpa David Paul Raba, grandma Rita Montreal, grandpa Nino Montreal, uncles: David Raba Jr. Pete Hill, Devin Montreal, cousins: Zoran Raba, Wyndee Sitting Dog, and great grandma Mary Helen Erhardt.
