Duane Stratton, 83, formerly of Fort Pierre and currently residing in Murdo, SD, passed away April 3, 2023 in his home.
He was born in Iowa on December 4, 1939 to Marvin and Marian (Livermore) Stratton. Duane proudly served in the United State Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Dena (Corey) Baker and Dawn (Douglas) Day; four grandchildren; two beloved dogs, Jessy and Lucy and special friends, Betty Stratton Nystrom, Holly and Fred.
Duane was preceded in death by his father in 1991 and mother in 2013 and three brothers, Gene, Al, and Chuck.
As per his wishes, Duane is being cremated and no service are being held. In lieu of flowers and cards, please make a donation to the Fort Pierre Moose Lodge in Duane’s name.
