Edward “Ed” Theunissen, 73, Hoven, SD, died Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his farm SW of Hoven.
Edward, son of Irene (Nothaus) and Theodore “Ted” Theunissen, was born November 26, 1950 at Hoven. Ed was brought up on the family farm four miles south and two miles west of Hoven. He attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Hoven. He and his brother, Donald, helped their parents with farming and with milking the family dairy herd. Ed insisted that all the farm equipment be red in color.
