Karen M. Condon, “Inyan Wasicunla Luta Win – Sacred Red Stone Woman”, age 67, of Eagle Butte, SD., entered the Spirit World on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Karen is survived by her son, Joe Condon of Eagle Butte, adopted son, Rick White of Duluth, MN; two daughters, Melody Condon of Miller, SD and Marlie Condon of Eagle Butte. One brother, Gordon Condon of Dupree, SD, and two sisters, Bernice Condon and June Condon of Eagle Butte. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A wake service begins at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Eagle Butte. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 4, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, with Shirley Dog Eagle, Valerie Curley and Deacon Harold Condon officiating. After a box lunch is served burial with prayers and song will take place at Dupree Community Cemetery.
