Kelly Gene Clown, first born to Catherine Jeffries and Floyd Clown in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, on January 21, 1975. He was loved from the moment he was born. Kelly grew up in Dupree, surrounded by his family and friends. Throughout his life, Kelly has always been athletic and had a love for sports! He loved to play basketball alongside his brothers with the Mean Green Bison (he was #24), play softball, and cheer on the LA Raiders. Kelly was very artistic and loved to draw, a talent he nurtured his entire life.
Kelly had a smile that could light up the darkest night. He was quiet, funny, and a jokester, with a strong and protective personality towards those he loved with his whole heart.
He was a true blessing and all who knew him were forever grateful for every moment he walked this earth with us.
Kelly was blessed with six beautiful children whom he was very proud of: Nathaniel, Kelly Jr., Jayden, Landon, Logan, and Renez’me Clown; and his two Takojas: Koda and Winston.
He was a big brother to his sisters, Kacie Clown and Sage Jeffries; brothers: P’tan, Floyd “Junebug” Jr., and Kyle Clown, and Dominic and Quentin LeCompte. He is joining Quentin in the star nation to watch over their mom.
Kelly joins his beloved relatives to give us his strength, as one of the ancestors. He has joined his Lalas: Edward Clown and Frank Jeffries; grandmothers: Amy Talks Clown and Corrine White Weasel Jeffries; brother, Quentin LeCompte; auntie, Beverly P. Clown (Bagola); uncle, Blaine Clown Sr.; as well as his cousins: Wade and Kyle Jeffries.
Kelly loved every single person in his life. We each had our own relationship with him that was just ours. He will miss every one of you as you will him. Sending prayers and love to all of his loved ones.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Kelly’s arrangements.
