Kilian Ryker Hempel was born silent into the world at 33 weeks on January 24, 2022, to his
loving parents, Perry and Falyn Hempel. While he was only in the arms of his parents for a brief
period on earth, his presence will forever change the lives of those who loved him but weren’t
ready for his angel wings to be ready.
A private service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in
Faulkton. Burial services and internment will be at the Miranda Cemetery.
Kilian Ryker is the beloved son of Perry and Falyn of Faulkton, SD. Killian will be the guardian
angel to his brothers, Hoyt (16 months), Tre, and Michael Hempel. Kilian was the highlight of
his youngest brother’s day. They would spend their time snuggling, which would consist of
Hoyt rubbing his hands over Kilian dancing in the womb.
Kilian will forever be loved by his mom and dad, brothers, grandparents: Doug and Brenda Hogg
and Perry and Gloria Hempel; great grandparents: Lloyd and Sonja Wager, and Daryl and Donna
