Lyndsey Archambault passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021, in Fort Yates, North Dakota.
Lyndsey James Archambault “Ohitika Hoksila” which translates to Brave Boy. Lyndsey was born on May 4, 1990, to Henrietta Dwarf and Dennis Archambault. He was raised and educated in Fort Yates, ND. Lyndsey was a father to four beautiful children (Keaira, Christian, Kasen, and Gabe) Lyndsey was employed with the Family Dollar and was enrolled in Sitting Bull College pursing a degree in Business administration at the time of his passing. Lyndsey enjoyed playing basketball when he had the time or when someone would challenge him to a game of 21. He enjoyed watching boxing, UFC fights, football and basketball and would often place bets against friends and family members. His favorite basketball team was the Miami heat and when a game would be on, he would be kicked back watching and cheering on his team. Lyndsey will be remembered for having that big smile and the hugs he gave to those who were close to him. No matter what obstacles were thrown his way he would always have a smile on his face while shaking his head.
Lyndsey learned how to make frybread from his Aunt Mary at a young age so anytime he was in a tight spot and needed money, he would have an Indian taco sale to help himself. His frybread was the best and we will sure miss that about him. Lyndsey leaves behind his precious children Keaira, Christian, Kasen, and Gabe along with their mother Maddison; his father Dennis; his siblings LaToya (Wyatt) Red Tomahawk, Lyndon (Charlotte) Dwarf, Josh (Sheyanne) Dwarf, Jayde Archambault, Alexis, Gabe, and Dennis Archambault Jr. Lyndsey was welcomed into heaven by his mother’s Henrietta and Mary Dwarf; his grandmother Barbara Cottonwood; his grandfather’s Virgil Dwarf, and Wyman Archambault along with cousins Christopher Ramsey and Jessie Manley. I’m sure it was a joyous occasion for them all.
