Peter Theo Fosheim, 88, of Pierre, SD, passed away on July 5, 2022. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Lutheran Memorial, with the visitation an hour before, from 10:00-11:00 am.

Peter was born on September 11, 1933, the 4th of 13 children, to Pete and Viola (Hand) Fosheim. He grew up on the Fosheim family farm in Haakon County. He attended Little Eagle Country School and Midland Schools. He graduated from Midland in 1952. After graduating from High School, he began to work full time farming and ranching on the family farm.
Peter married Sylvia (Schilling) Fahey on January 27, 1984.

Peter was an avid golfer and bowler, loved watching the Minnesota Twins play ball, enjoyed hunting, playing pool games with the guys, loved playing the guitar (in a country music band when young), and target shooting when younger.

Peter is survived by his spouse, Sylvia (Schilling) Fosheim, Pierre, children, Derek (Kerri) Fahey, Mitchell; Jennifer (Billy) Seale, Ft. Pierre, five grandchildren, Darien (August) Cass; Shane Fahey; Shelby Seale; Adam Fahey; Carson Fahey, and two great-grandchildren, Kashtyn and Kora Cass, and Jenna Boe, special friend of the family. He is also survived by his siblings and in-laws: Edith Fosheim Schofield, Gene Tobin, Jackie Fosheim, Judy (George) Fosheim Gerig, Gjertina (Orlyn) Fosheim Haug, Judy Fosheim, Ruth Fosheim (Lou) Gassner, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and in-laws: Thelma Jean (Mike) Fosheim; Pauline (Hank) Fosheim Schofield; Martin Schofield; Marilyn Tobin; Richard (Alice Mae) Fosheim; George Fosheim; Joe (Shirley) Fosheim; John Fosheim; and Roger Fosheim.
