Richard High Bear Jr. is survived by his: Daughters: Larisha White Magpie, Sophia Brown. Uncle Mevin and Aunt Melda Garreau. Aunt Carmelita Eagle Chasing. Sisters: Pauline High Bear, Patricia (Dewey) High Bear, Nona High Bear, Nicole High Bear, Jolene High Bear, all of Eagle Butte, Fawn (Carlin) High Bear of Dupree SD, Elizabeth Nezzie of Red Scaffold SD. Brothers: Danial High Bear, Faron High Bear, Andrew High Bear, Waylon High Bear, all of Eagle Butte SD, Dustin Bishoff of Salem Oregon, Jerry Eagle Man of Springfield SD. Numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for mortuary care, a private funeral service for family only will be begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Blue Gym at Cherry Creek, SD. Burial will follow at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cemetery, Cherry Creek, SD.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte, SD.
