Rita Kym Louis, age 71 of Eagle Butte, South Dakota, entered the spirit world on Sunday August 18, 2024 in Eagle Butte. A wake service will begin at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the CRST Bingo Hall. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 23 at the Bingo Hall. Following a luncheon, burial will take place at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery at LaPlant, SD. Rita is survived by her sons, Kyle Louis of Eagle Butte and Scott Louis of Pierre, SD. Three step daughters: Debi Louis of Albuquerque, NM, Danie Louis of Watertown, SD and Darcy Harlow, Salida, CO. Her mother, Melda Garreau of Eagle Butte. Three brothers: Morgan Garreau of LaPlant, Jeff Garreau of Aberdeen, SD and Steve Garreau of Eagle Butte. Two sisters, Francine Hall and Jacquelyn Garreaux of Albuquerque, NM. Three grandchildren.
