Ronald D. Lovejoy, Jr., age 37, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Timber Lake, SD.
Ron is survived by his wife, Brenda Lovejoy, Jr., of Eagle Butte, SD. Two sons, Rayden Lovejoy and Brayden Lovejoy of Eagle Butte, and one sister, Roni Lovejoy of Eagle Butte. Parents, Ronald Lovejoy, Sr. and Madeline Jeaunesse of Eagle Butte. One brother, Harold Picotte of Eagle Butte and four sisters: Misty Lovejoy-Chavez of Eagle Butte, Nikki Lovejoy of Idaha, Tira Lovejoy and Sasha Lovejoy of Hays, MT.
A visitation will be from 5– 8 PM Monday, January 24, 2022, at Rooks Funeral Home. A Funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at The Land Mark Building in Eagle Butte, with Jerome Slides Off officiating. After a box lunch to go is served, burial with prayers and songs will follow at the Eagle Butte Community Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte.
