Funeral Services for Ryan White Mountain Soft of McLaughlin, SD will be at 1 PM, CT on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the McLaughlin Blue Gym in McLaughlin, SD. Burial in the White Mountain Cemetery under direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Family and friends will gather at Oster’s on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 1 PM, CT to follow in procession to the gym for services to start at 7 PM, CT. Ryan entered the Spirit World on March 14, 2021.
Ryan Thomas passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. He was a beloved Son, Brother, Father of 5 children, passed away at the age of 30.
February 2, 1991 Ryan Thomas was born to Debra White Mountain and Dion Soft Sr.
Growing up Ryan loved to be with his friends, playing basketball, and he trained for his upcoming boxing matches he was accomplished so much in his boxing career. When Ryan was boxing or training for a match.
He loved to joke or tease family and friends, listening to music, or work on his car and watch his favorite boxing movies.
No matter how many times he watch them over.
When he was out in Hawaii, he used to joke around about not coming back to the states.
Geri & Ryan are proud parents to his one and only daughter Rain WaKinyan Soft. Rain was Ryan’s pride and joy. He proudly named her at birth. Everybody knew her as “daddy’s girl”. She had 2 glorious years with him in this world, but he will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
Daddy’s girl by North Bear was a song he would always play for her.
Ryan is survived by his five children Rylan, Kemper, Stevie, Kingston, Rain, his mother Debra Gary of McLaughlin, SD, father Dion Soft Sr., brothers Terry Little Eagle family, Mikal White Mountain Sr. family, Lonnie White Mountain Jr family, Dion Soft Jr family, Olena Village Center family, Donnie Soft family, Todd Soft family, all other family and relatives.
Ryan is proceeded in death by grandmother Armene White Mountain, 2 uncles Anthony “Squashy” White Mountain, Steve White Mountain, Michael White Mountain, his good friend Charlie “Chuck” White Tail.
