Funeral Services for Solomon White Eagle age 81 of Cannon Ball, ND will be at 11 AM, CT on Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. James Episcopal Church in Cannon Ball, ND. Fr. John Floberg will be officiating. Burial will be at All Nations Cemetery at State Line in Selfridge, ND under direction of Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Solomon was born November 10, 1938 to Jake White Eagle and Helen No Two Horn-White Eagle at Cannon Ball, North Dakota, where he was raised and educated.
Solomon enlisted to the United States Marine Corps when he was 21 years old.
Solomon married Lorene RedDog, June 1964,for 22 years.
Solomon held many jobs through out the country, he was a Security Officer at United Tribes Technical College. He was an Deputy Sheriff for Sioux County as well a Truck Driver in Dallas, Texas. He also was a welder at a Navy Ship Yard in California.
Solomon married Irma Looking Back-White Eagle on May 19,1999 in Rapid City, South Dakota. They made their home in Solen, North Dakota. Later moving to McLaughlin, South Dakota. Solomon enjoyed traveling with his wife to Pow-Wows and Veterans Events as he was a member of the Looking Back-Growler-Jamerson Post #239 from Little Eagle, South Dakota.
Solomon is survived by one niece, Melissa White Eagle and family ( Wolf Point, Montana). Two nephews, Albert Little Owl Sr. Mathew “BoBo” Black Elk and family; two granddaughters Jeanette Two Shields and family, Margaret (Allen) Two Shields and family; three grandsons, Sampson (Renee) Two Shields and family, Casper Thunder Hawk Jr. and family, Patrick “Ghostman” Big Shield. Four Great Granddaughters, Avril White Eagle, Jerrilyn White Eagle, Wendy Conica, and Erica Conica. Two Great Grandsons, Tidell White Eagle, Eric (Morgan) Conica.
Solomon is preceded in death by his parents Jake and Helen White Eagle. Three brothers; James White Eagle, Edwin White Eagle, and Gerald White Eagle. One Sister; Dorothy White Eagle. One Nephew, William “Billy” White Eagle.
