Thomas Weber, 74, of Aberdeen and formerly of Seneca, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.
In accordance with Tom’s request, he was cremated. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2020, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Faulkton, with Father Christopher Hughes presiding. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Seneca. A wake service will be 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the church. Face masks and social distancing are required.
Thomas Joseph Weber was born June 29, 1946, in Bowdle, SD; to Bernard and Regina (Herman) Weber. He lived and worked his entire life on the family farm, south of Seneca. He graduated from Faulkton High School in 1964. He married Kathy Morrow on July 21, 1966, and to this union were born four children. Tom and Kathy continued to farm until their retirement in 2004. He was a member of St. Boniface Church in Seneca until he joined St. Mary’s Catholic Church when they moved to Aberdeen in 2013, where he resided until his death.
Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, spending winters in the warmer climates of Texas, and a cold Coors Light.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 54 years; his children: Bill (Leza) of Burlington, WI, Bob (Carmen) of Eureka, SD, Chad (Sara) of Flandreau, SD, and Angie (Scott) Kulesa of Ipswich, SD; grandchildren: Brittany (Brandon) Prothe, Hannah Weber, Courtney (Gunner) Haug, Jesse (Katelynn Hoggarth) Weber, Megan Weber, Jacob Weber, Austin Weber, Bradon Weber, Benjamin Kulesa, Baylee Kulesa, Maxwell Kulesa; a great grandchild due in December; and one brother, Rodney (JaNette) Weber of Phoenix, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Regina Weber; mother and father in-law, Delmar and Evelynn Morrow; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Don and Delynn (Morrow) Loeb.
