Vern J. Mexican, Sr., age 37, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Monday, November 30,2020 at the Cheyenne River Health Center at Eagle Butte, SD
He is survived by two daughters, Marion and Shawneequa Mexican of Dupree, SD. Three brothers, Daniel Mexican, Steven Mexican, and Percival Mexican of Eagle Butte. Five sisters, Darlene Dupris and Margaret Little Shield of Cherry Creek, SD, Sharon Tuttle of Box Elder, SD, Margie Mexican and Melita Mexican of Eagle Butte.
In compliance with the CDC Covid19 regulations and the CRST Tribal Directives for mortuary care with social distancing, a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Blue Gym at Cherry Creek, SD. Burial will follow at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cemetery at Cherry Creek, SD.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rooks Funeral Home of Eagle Butte, SD.
