Vicki was born Vicki Collins on March 11, 1950, in Rapid City, SD, to Lester and Viola (Harris) Collins. After living the first three years of her life in Pleasant Valley near Custer, the family moved to Custer due to her mother’s health. Vicki attended school in the Custer schools and graduated in 1968. While in school, Vicki worked at a variety of jobs and locations around Custer including the Harney Theatre, Tennyson Pharmacy, souvenir shops, and many babysitting jobs. After high school graduation, Vicki moved to Minneapolis to attend airline school, graduating in June 1969. Vicki then worked as a travel agent at American Travel Agency in Rapid City for a brief time.

Vicki married Larry Neiderworder in June 1969. After living in Rapid City for two years, they moved to Larry’s family ranch north of Midland, SD. Vicki was the mother of two children, Shanna and Shane, who were the delight of her life. Vicki was so proud of her children and considered them gifts from God. Vicki moved to Philip when her daughter started high school in 1988 and remained there after the family left the family ranch in 1995. Vicki worked for Gold Diggers in Wall for one summer, followed by Zeeb Pharmacy in Philip. Following Larry’s death in 2019, Vicki moved to Presho in 2020, to be near family.

The greatest joy of Vicki’s life was serving the Lord Jesus. Whenever she could, Vicki would witness for Him, sharing her love for Him and how truly blessed she felt she was because of Him and His grace in her life.

Vicki is survived by her daughter Shanna (Jeff) Baker of Sioux Falls, SD, and their children Harleyann of Omaha, NE, and Bryton of Lincoln, NE; her son Shane (Shirleine) Neiderworder and their children Katelyn, Kolten, and Kaden of Presho, SD; a special niece Sammi (Troy) Spear and their children Braydon and Brett of Summerset, SD; brothers-in-law Mike (Carla) Erk and Chuck (Gale) Neiderworder; sisters-in-law Sharon (Bob) Weimer, Karon Bauman, Marie Nuttle, and Mary (Randy) Miller.

Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Lester Collins; her mother, Viola Collins; her father-in-law, Morris Neiderworder; her mother-in-law, Mavis Neiderworder; her sister, Micki Erk; her brothers-in-law: Garry Neiderworder, Dale Nuttle, and Jim Bauman; and her husband, Larry.

At Vicki’s request cremation has taken place and private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
