Highmore-Harrold– 2 hours late. Bus drivers will do their best to reach all stops on their routes and will contact families directly if they are unable to safely access a stop. Preschool reports to the Aud between 10-10:30 for 10:30 program.

Blue Christmas at First Baptist Church in Pierre has been postponed to Saturday, December 20th, 2025.
Pierre First United Methodist Church “Church of Hope” Concert has been postponed to Sunday, December 21st, 2025.
Pierre Street Department sanders resumed operations at 5a.m. Friday to assist morning commuters.
River Cities Transit in Pierre– will resume service Friday morning at 5:30am, if conditions have improved.
Pierre’s Thursday garbage collection route is being collected Friday. If collection does not occur as expected, Pierre will let the public know.
Pierre residents are reminded that sidewalk snow removal is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner.
With the potential for over two inches of snow Friday night, people in Pierre are asked to not park vehicles on Emergency Snow Routes so plows can safely and efficiently clear the streets.
