The Pierre Volunteer Fire Department quickly extinguished a vehicle fire around 5:30 Wednesday evening (Jan. 29, 2025).
Truck Captain Doug Gordon says it was by Steamboat Park, just west of the boat ramp.
The cause of that vehicle fire is under investigation, but is not considered suspicious.
