Pending approval from the Pierre School Board, a joint city-school election will be held June 4.
The election would normally also include Hughes County, but Pierre City finance director Twila Hight says the county doesn’t have any seats up for election this year.
The Pierre City Commission unanimously approved the joint election agreement.
