The ACLU of South Dakota is holding informational events this week in Pierre.
Policy director Libby Skarin says the ACLU’s Activist Academy tomorrow (Tues.) came about because people were asking for information about all things legislative in South Dakota.
Skarin says the two-hour ACLU Activist Academy will be from 6-8pm tomorrow at the South Dakota Education Association’s auditorium (411 E. Capitol Ave.) in Pierre.
Another Activist Academy will be held Thursday in Rapid City.
The ACLU of South Dakota is also hosting a “Strongly Worded Letter Writing Party” Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm at Prairie Pages Bookstore (321 S. Pierre St.) in Pierre. Skarin says this is a come and go as you’d like event.
