A non-partisan advocacy organization has created it’s own version of bingo to encourage South Dakotans to be engaged in the political process during the current Legislative session.
ACLU of South Dakota policy director Libby Skarin says Legislative Bingo helps people connect with their elected officials.
She says you can get your Legislative Bingo card via social media or ACLU of South Dakota’s website.
Skarin says be sure to tag ACLU of South Dakota when you submit your SDLeg Bingo so you get entered into the monthly prize drawings.
Incidentally, one of the items on the card is to attend a legislative coffee or cracker barrel– and District 24 is holding one Saturday (Jan. 26) at 10am at the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce Community Room in Pierre.
