A 37-year-old Pierre man faces charges after a domestic situation Saturday afternoon.
The Pierre Police Department reports officers were called for an assault in the 100 block of East Broadway Avenue. During the investigation, officers learned Lee Howe had struck and strangled another individual after an argument. Howe had previously been given a trespass notice from the residence. Howe was located and placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault Domestic Violence and Trespassing.
He was transported to the Hughes County Jail. The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
