Oahe Speedway Races to Mark 15th Season

PIERRE, S.D. -The 15th season of NHRA Championship Drag Racing is set to begin at Oahe Speedway, north of Pierre. The speedway will celebrate it’s 15th year of existence in 2019 with a 7 weekend racing card with races held on Saturday and Sunday’s and two weekends where there will be 3 weekends of the racing. The season will have 7 Pepsi Points Races once again this year with feature races including the 10th annual Junior Mam, Rocky Mountain Superchargers, the Summit Racing Equipment King of the Track and NHRA All Access Challenge. The first weekend will be one of the two 3 day race cards on Memorial Day weekend with racing also on Monday. Saturday’s racing begin with time trials at 1 pm and elimination rounds at 4 pm. On Sunday’s and Monday’s, qualifying begins at 9 am with eliminations at 1 pm. Oahe Speedway is leased and operated by the Oahe Racers Association.
