The annual South Dakota State Fair starts at the end of this month (Aug. 29) and kids 6-15 years of age in Hughes and Stanley counties have an opportunity to get in for free.
Rawlins Municipal Library director Robin Schrupp says the youth read books and earn the free state fair admission passes.
Registration information can be found in the Rawlins Municipal Library’s August newsletter, on the SD State Fair website, by stopping in at the library (1000 East Church Street in Pierre) or by calling 605-773-7421. Youth must be registered no later than Monday, Aug. 20 to be eligible for the passes.
