Wicked, windy winter weather

Forecasters posted a blizzard warning for parts of the Upper Midwest as a winter storm is gathering steam.

Weatherology meteorologist Laura Lockwood says in the Pierre Fort Pierre area we’re on the back side of a system coming out of the Rocky Mountains.

Lockwood says we have a high wind warning in effect from 6pm today (Fri.) until 6am tomorrow.

Lockwood says depending on where you’re going, you may want to cancel travel plans for this weekend.
