Pitching Struggles In Trappers’ Loss To Moo

FREMONT, NE – 17 hits and seven walks helped the Fremont Moo defeat the Pierre Trappers 13-7 on Tuesday.

Trappers’ starter Jackson Uner (2-1) allowed six runs and nine hits in five innings before the bullpen gave up five runs to Fremont in the sixth and two in the seventh.  Carter Howell hit two solo home runs and drove in three for Pierre.

The Trappers are 14-17, but still just two and a half games behind Badlands for the Lewis Division lead.  Pierre will again play at Fremont Wednesday night at 7:05.
