Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area remodel finished early, on budget

The remodeling and renovation of the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area in Pierre is finished.

Pierre city project manager Gidget Palmer says it went from a one story building to a two story building.

Palmer says the Club’s remodel and renovation was finished not only ahead of schedule, but also on budget.

Last year, the City of Pierre and Capital Area Counseling– the entity that oversees the club’s operations– signed a 45-year lease agreement with a $1 fee for the use of the building.
