COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Presidents’ Council voted on Thursday to postpone football, soccer and volleyball to the spring semester. The RMAC includes South Dakota member institutions South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State University. Cross country will be competed as scheduled, and golf non-championship segments can continue.
This decision came after Wednesday’s ruling by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council to cancel all fall championships. In a statement, the RMAC said that practice opportunities for the postponed sports will be available at the discretion of each school.
