Chamberlain Volleyball Stops Stanley County

CHAMBERLAIN – Chamberlain had twice as many kills in a four-set volleyball win over Stanley County Tuesday at the Chamberlain Armory.

Chamberlain won 3-1 by scores of 25-11, 22-25, 25-13 and 25-13. The Cubs had 38 kills in the match while the Buffaloes managed 19.

Outside hitter Jayslee Petersen led Chamberlain with 14 kills and 6 aces. Kori Gabriel had 8 kills for Stanley County.

Chamberlain is now 1-1 and will play at Wagner Thursday. Stanley County is 1-2 and will host White River and Timber Lake Saturday at Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
