According to a press release, starting Wednesday September 9th, 2020 there will be parking restrictions along Capital Ave. These restrictions are between Ree St. and Nicollet Ave. The parking restrictions are being put into place, so the City of Pierre can repaint the crosswalk in front of the Capitol Building and Foss Building.
The press release says that through traffic can continue to use the street with restrictions, so crews can complete the job. As seen in the picture above, there will be parking restrictions on the road as well.
According to the press release, the restrictions will be lifted before Thursday, September 10th, 2020.
