Railroad workers will be replacing the first railroad crossing south of Blunt on the Blunt/Canning Road (309th Avenue) Saturday (Sept. 19).
Estimates are that work will start at 7am and should be finished by 3pm (6 to 8 hours). Vehicles will not be able to cross the tracks while the work is being done. Travelers coming from the south will need to use an alternate route. There will be Road Closed signs around the intersection of the Blunt/Canning Road (309th) and 202nd and 204th Streets, so traffic won’t be able to get to Blunt via that route.
