Stanley County Commission, Pierre City Commission each to discuss 2021 budgets at their respective meetings this evening

The Stanley County Commission and Pierre City Commission both meet this (Tues.) evening.

Among items on the Stanley County Commission agenda are:

• an update from Emergency Management director Rob Fines
• Golden West Telecommunications on occupancy of the right of way along county highways
• budget

The Pierre City Commission will meet at 4:30pm for an executive session pertaining to legal issues. On the regular meeting agenda are:

• approval of the FY2021 budget appropriation ordinance
• discharging fireworks and street closures as they pertain to the Pierre School District’s homecoming activities the week of Oct. 12, 2020.

The Stanley County Commission meeting starts at 5pm in the Stanley County Courthouse in Fort Pierre. The regular Pierre City Commission meeting begins at 5:30pm at Pierre City Hall. Both meetings are open to the public.
