No injuries in vehicle fire, gas line break calls yesterday in Pierre

The Pierre Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire and a gas leak yesterday (Oct. 6) evening.

Chief Ian Paul says the vehicle fire was in the Ramkota parking lot about 5:30pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Paul says the gas line hit happened around 6:30pm in the 300 block of North Harrison Avenue.

No one was injured in either incident.
