South Dakota doesn’t have a mask requirement, but election officials say masks are welcome at polling locations for those who want to wear them Nov. 3.
State director of AARP South Dakota Erik Gaikowski says having a safe, detailed plan in place ensures voters can make their ballot count during a crucial election.
“We’ve got Social Security, Medicare, prescription drug prices – those are all things that matter, to especially the AARP member population.”
With less than two weeks until the election, officials say those still wanting to absentee vote by mail should request their ballot and mailed it back right away.
