One week left until deadline to pay 2nd half of property taxes

The second half of property taxes in South Dakota must be paid by Oct. 31, 2020.

Hughes County residents may:

• take payments to the County Treasurer’s Office in the Courthouse in Pierre,
• mail payments to the County Treasurer’s Office
• or put payment in the drop box on the north side of the Courthouse.

If mailing or dropping off in the outside box, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you require a receipt.

Payments received or postmarked after Oct. 31 will be considered delinquent and charged interest.
