Scotties Smashed By Defending Champs

CANISTOTA – Defending 9A champion Canistota/Freeman won by the mercy rule Thursday 50-0 over the Philip Scotties in a quarterfinal playoff game.  The game ended when the Pride took a 50-0 lead in the third quarter.  Tyce Ortman passed for two touchdowns and ran for two.  Philip (7-3) was held to 57 yards of total offense and committed three turnovers.
