Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Jamie Seiner has resigned, effective Feb. 26, 2021.
“It was my fortune to meet so many of you, work alongside an incredibly talented and passionate team, and lead an important organization in a community I love,” Seiner said. “Thank you, every one of you, for this great experience.”
The chamber’s executive board of directors, currently chaired by Thomas Allerdings, ClubHouse Hotel and Suites, will oversee the candidate selection process. Seiner will continue to lead the chamber as the interim CEO.
“Jamie is leaving behind a talented staff who will continue to work diligently to fulfill the chamber’s mission, which is to promote prosperity, growth and our way of life in the lower Oahe region,” Allerdings said.
Seiner will begin working for South Dakota Retirement System’s Supplemental Retirement Plan as a Retirement Specialist starting March 1, 2021. Her education and work history are centered on financial planning. Seiner held the position since May 2018.
