Two minimum-security inmates who were placed on escape status are back in custody.
Inmates Shawn Mills and Ronnie Wayne Moore were apprehended in Sioux Falls today (May 18).
The two left the Sioux Falls Community Work Center without authorization yesterday.
Leaving a non-secure correctional facility without authorization constitutes second-degree escape, a Class 5 felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
