MINOT, ND – 10 runs in the seventh inning broke open a tight game Friday and helped the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs drop the Pierre Trappers 14-4 at Corbett Field, the eighth straight loss for Pierre (6-13).
Beau Brewer drove in four runs and Cadyn Schwabe homered for Souris Valley, who led 4-2 before their big inning.
Brennan Van Breusegen hit his first home run of the season for the Trappers.
Pierre pitching, who leads the Expedition League in walks allowed, issued 11 free passes on Friday along with 11 hits.
