MINOT, ND – Seven runs in the sixth inning by the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs rallied them past the Pierre Trappers Sunday 11-9 at Corbett Field as Pierre suffered its 10th loss in a row.
Brendon Perez hit his first two home runs of the season and drove in three runs for the Trappers (6-15). Kaiden Cardoso hit his second home run. Tyler Skelton drove in three runs.
Chase Keeton broke a 7-7 tie and put Souris Valley on top in their big sixth inning with a grand slam off losing pitcher Nick McCollum.
The Trappers will have Monday off, then play at Sioux Falls Tuesday.
