Before the fire happened, my parents would get after me about having too much stuff. They told me I need to go through everything and start getting rid of stuff. That was the plan. Then I lost everything. Over the past few months of rebuilding, I’ve decided from now on, I will be living a minimalist life because I really don’t need all this stuff.
SWNS found a study and about two-thirds of Americans feel that they have too much stuff. During the pandemic, folks realized they couldn’t fit all of their stuff in their homes. Actually, about seven out of ten people cleaned out at least two rooms during this time. My parents kind of went through this phase as well. They did a lot of this.
There is also the opposite side here. A lot of folks were stuck at home and do you know how easy it is to push add to cart on Amazon? Some turned to stress shopping and acquired more stuff. I have this strange feeling in the next few months you are going to find a ton of treasures at thrift stores across the country! You really might be able to find a ton of hidden treasures!
