Yesterday’s (Aug. 16, 2021) USDA National Ag Statistics Service crop progress report has South Dakota on some Top 3 lists– but they’re not good lists to be on.
USDA meteorologist Brad Rippy says South Dakota is one of the states where the corn crop conditions are among the lowest in the country.
Unfortunately, Rippy says soybeans in South Dakota aren’t in any better shape.
