FORT PIERRE – Stanley County Football hopes their long Friday trip will be worthwhile.
The Buffaloes, 0-2 after losses to Timber Lake and Parkston, will look again for their first win of the season in Tyndall against the Bon Homme Cavaliers on Friday afternoon.
SC trailed Parkston 35-0 at halftime in the Buffaloes’ home opener last Friday before scoring 22 fourth-quarter points in a 43-22 loss. Head coach Max Foth was pleased with the improvement.
Quarterback Lathan Prince threw for one touchdown pass and ran for another. Foth hopes this starts a turnaround for his senior quarterback from a difficult game and a half.
Foth said that the Buffaloes’ main aim on defense against Bon Homme will be a fundamental aim.
