The Mobridge Pollock Tiger Volleyball team competed last night in Mobridge. Landyn Henderson had 11 kills followed by Emma Keller with 7. Keller also had 9 aces from the service line to go along with 15 assists. The Tigers won the first set 25 to 9, the second 25 to 9 and in the third set Mobridge Pollock got the straight set victory winning 25 to 11. The Mobridge Pollock JV will compete on Thursday against Standing Rock starting around 5:00 PM. Meanwhile Cheyenne Eagle Butte will travel to Rapid City on Friday to compete in the Lakota Nation Invitational. Other scores from last night include:

Twins closer Alex Colome struck out Robbie Grossman with the game-tying run at first for the final out of a 3-2 Minnesota win over Detroit last night at Target Field. Colome gave up both of Detroit’s runs in the ninth inning, but was able to secure his 17th save. Miguel Sano hit his 30th home run of the season in the victory. Caleb Thielbar improved to 7-0 with the win in relief. Michael Pineda takes the mound for Minnesota tonight against Casey Mize. The will be the penultimate home game of the season and starts tonight at 6:40 P-M
The Minnesota Vikings were off yesterday and will return to the practice field today at T-C-O Performance Center in Eagan. The 1-2 Vikings are coming off of Sunday’s 30-17 win over Seattle. Minnesota entertains 2-1 Cleveland this Sunday at U-S Bank Stadium in Minneapolis and KMLO 100 point 7 FM will have Paul Allen and the crew with the call starting at 11:00 AM.
