Ain Peterson has been chosen as the First National Bank Performer/Fine Arts Student of the Week (Oct. 4-8, 2021).
Ain is a senior who is involved in the drama department at Pierre’s TF Riggs High School. The following is her nomination from Mrs. Jenny Hodges.
“I would like to nominate Ain Peterson for performer of the week. Ain has worked hard throughout her four years at Riggs. She has gladly accepted any role she was cast in and made it her own. No matter how small or large the role she has embraced it. It has been my great joy to watch her grow as an actor. Aside from improving her acting skills she has also become a leader in the program. Her roles in the upcoming play “Ashland Falls” were a challenge to her at first but her perseverance has paid off. Ain has once again created wonderful and believable characters. She plays both a free-spirited high school method actor who refuses to be defined by the playwright’s words and a mother whose poverty and trauma have led to her being committed to the insane asylum. And she handles both characters with ease. Congratulations Ain and thanks for sharing your talents with the Riggs Theatre Department!”
Congratulations Ain!
Congratulations! Great work!
