At the Mobridge City Council meeting Tuesday night (October 12, 2021):
The council approved Pay Request #2 to B&B Contracting for the rehab project in the amount of $489,655.02.
Finance Officer Heather Beck explained an agreement with the State for the airport taxi lane and apron project.
Council approved the agreement.
Another agreement with the State for the airport A.R.P.A. grant was also approved. Beck said the grant is Covid funding that all airports are receiving.

Also approved at the meeting was a resolution to levy a sixty-cent-per-foot front foot assessment for annual maintenance of street surfaces and setting maximum annual assessments. Mayor Gene Cox said the city does this every year and it is only for front footage.
Finance Officer Beck asked the council to approve increasing the budget for a FEMA grant by $122,400.00 for the Urban Redevelopment Expenditure Account.
Beck told the council she is waiting on quotes from contractors. She estimates around the end of October to have the house taken down.
