As of noon today (Oct. 28, 2021) Airport Road in Pierre is open to the airport terminal.
Traffic will be controlled using a temporary stoplight system until the remaining portion of Airport Road is paved. At that time, the Pierre Regional Airport parking lot entrance will be able to be used. Traffic that needs to go to locations further down the road will need to turn at the Northstar entrance and still use the existing ‘B’ Street detour route.
