Capitals Girls Lose At Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS – Alyssa Lingen scored a hat trick Saturday as the Sioux Falls Flyers defeated the Oahe Capitals girls 9-2 at Leadership Rink.

After trailing 2-0 in the first period, the Capitals (2-2-1) rallied to tie the game on an even-strength goal by Brylee Kafka and a shorthanded goal by Ashton Lee.

Gaby Schroder scored then to give Sioux Falls a 3-2 lead, followed by one second period goal and five in the third period.

The Capital girls will host Yankton Saturday and Sunday at the Expo Center in Fort Pierre.
